With the release of Mk2, Arturia ditched the gigantic software bundle in favor of Analog Lab Lite, while simultaneously increasing hardware component quality across the board. The controller came bundled with Analog Lab so you could potentially spend the rest of your days sifting through thousands of sounds based on classic vintage synths. At the time, the build quality was impressive, but it was the ~5000 presets taken from Arturia’s V Collection that really set the keyboard apart. The original MiniLab debuted roughly 7 years ago. While its predecessor emphasized a huge bundle of included software, Mk2 pares that down and instead focuses on the quality of the hardware. The problem persists when I reconnect the device.The Arturia MiniLab MK2 is a portable USB MIDI controller for end-to-end music creation. My midi device is fine though, works perfectly with analog lab four and online websites which test midi. As I installed for the first time, I thought it was supposed to look like that, but now I'm certain (after watching some videos) that the lines should be white. I can record and play voice/other audio, no problem.Įdit: in the preference menu, under link midi, the input and output selection line is orange (and probably frozen). My speaker are also working because I can hear the presets fine when I click them.
After I stop recording, and press play, no sound comes, but the track status shows playing. When I arm the track and start recording, the track shows inputs and progress, but no sound. The orange bar beside all channel jumps up when I press button, but no sound is heard. In midi track, under the in/out selection, the midi from is all in and monitor is in auto, and midi to minilab mk2 output is selected. The ableton profile (shift + pad 8) is selected. The midi ports options has both track and remote on for input and output.
I have selected control surface/input/output to arturia minilab in the link midi tab in preferences menu.
The problem I'm facing is, no sound is playing when I'm playing the instrument or playing the recording back. Hi guys, I'm totally new to ableton (just installed the light version which came with my arturia minilab).
